Richard Flynn  > 2008 > Interlaken–Montreux ‘Panoramic’ Railway Journey
On Saturday 10th May 2008 I travelled by train from Interlaken, in the centre of Switzerland, to Montreux, at the westernmost end of Lake Geneva (Lac Léman). The journey is marketed by a company called ‘GoldenPass Panoramic’ because it involves some fantastic views of Swiss scenery along the way.

Richard Flynn > The Château de Chillon in the light of early sunset. This perspective is much-photographed because it artistically includes the Dents du Midi in the centre of the frame. I was in and around this position for several hours watching not only the light as it changed on the scene, but also other photographers coming and going.
