A collection of Christmas trees at the Museum of Science and Industry, each one supposedly decorated as it would be in different parts of the world. I don’t think I’ll spend time scouring the homes of Wales looking for a tree decorated with Welsh flags.
Four-frame stitched photo of the Jungle Room at the back of the Graceland Mansion. This room has to be seen to be believed. I know that when I’m putting green shag carpet in a room I put it on the ceiling as well as the floor. Also, check out the built-in exposed-brick water feature at the left-hand end of the frame. The photo (with difficult lighting) doesn’t quite do justice to the wooden-animal arms on the leather sofa and armchair.
As I walked through Quebec on the afternoon I arrived, it was so cold and damp that I thought it felt like Christmas (in the northern hemisphere…). Just as I began to think this, I turned the corner and saw this ‘Boutique de Noël’ opposite the basilica.
