Perth and the Indian Pacific Trans-Australian Railway
My parents and I flew from Sydney to Perth for three days in August 2005 before catching the Indian Pacific railway train back across Australia. The journey lasted three nights, and we passed through the Nullarbor Plain and also travelled on the longest straight stretch of railway in the world.
